Wuyuan

A village of scholars and officials, Likeng boasts a large-scale ancient architectural complex. Its name means 'Two Dragons Playing with a Pearl' as two streams converge at the center, creating a unique layout.

Established in 1199, Sixi preserves over 30 Ming and Qing Dynasty houses. The Jingxu Hall, built during the Yongzheng period, features a gilded plaque and covers 664 square meters.

Nestled by the Sixi River, Yan Village resembles a bamboo raft on the water. Its ancient Huizhou-style houses and scenic backdrop make it a must-see on the northern route.

A Song Dynasty covered bridge, 140 meters long, with 11 pavilions. Named after a Li Bai poem, it's the oldest and longest corridor bridge in ancient Huizhou.

At dawn, Shicheng village is enveloped in mystical fog, with ancient trees and houses emerging like a Chinese ink painting. A paradise for photographers.
