Daocheng in western Sichuan is the gateway to the Yading Nature Reserve, one of China's most beautiful and sacred landscapes. The three snow-capped peaks of Chenresig, Chana Dorje, and Jambeyang are considered the holiest mountains in Tibetan Buddhism outside Tibet. At 3,700m altitude, the air is thin but the views are unparalleled.
