Sounds of China now plays 72 real recordings across 11 albums — from Mongolian long songs and Yunnan folk to new albums of Chinese pop classics, classical China, rivers & mountains and the Black Ducks trio — plus the 20 original AI tracks back as "AI Originals," each with Warren's voice-over and AI-generated cover art. City pages got a big refresh too: 95+ destination covers replaced with real photography, Zhengzhou/Shijiazhuang/Dujiangyan guides fully rewritten, and every travel guide's hero banner and social-share image repaired.
Biubiu now answers website questions in chat straight from the Help Center — brief replies with numbered follow-up options and one-tap return to trip planning — and everything is tuned for ultrawide (3440px) monitors: a denser, fully-filled itinerary wheel, 4-up stories, two-column FAQ, and a wider homepage and pricing.
34 city guides now end with a Sound & Screen module: six songs and six films per city — from Cantonese lullabies in Hong Kong to F.I.R.'s Crescent Bay in Dunhuang, with English-narrated documentaries and movie explainers for travelers. More cities are on the way.
The Destinations page was rebuilt — 554 cities with clickable provinces, popularity tiers, a searchable sidebar, and a paged catalogue. 451 new city guides went live with real or AI-generated cover photos, Hong Kong and Macau guides were expanded, and 48 guide pages got layout fixes.
The Help Center (magictrip.help) got 20+ new screen recordings, three new guides, and updated visuals. Also fixed: double calendar on the anchor date field, city delete button in the planner, and the account sidebar now links to the Help Center.
Fixed chats that hung on "Thinking" — replies now stream reliably and quick-reply chips appear after each answer. Trip planner upgrades: clearer tutorial with restart option, English-only recommendation lists, simplified map legend, and trip pages that load instantly.
Pricing is now a public page with a fresh design, Subscribe / One Time toggle, AI model comparison, and FAQ. Smart upgrade flow: sign in if needed, pay, and return right back to what you were doing. Plan buttons show your real status.

Interactive metro maps now cover 57 Chinese cities — plan routes and find stations & exits in English, including special lines like maglev, trams and intercity rail. Jump in from the nav bar or the Getting Around guide, with every city's lines now fully connected.
Biubiu now correctly plans multi-city trips — departure city, dates, budget and stops are understood even from long or winding conversations. Generation is up to 3× faster, the Update Itinerary button is fixed, and past conversations can be reopened from the chat. English names added across attraction recommendations in the trip planner.
